WebbRiamet is not recommended during the first 3 months of pregnancy if it is possible for the doctor to give an alternative medicine first. In the later stages of pregnancy, you should take Riamet if your doctor considers it appropriate for you. Your doctor will discuss with you the potential risk of taking Riamet during pregnancy.
